Summary
The Billing Dispute Resolution Analyst effectively researches and resolves customer disputes related to complex billing. This role focuses on in-depth analysis of billing transactions and other related activities affecting customer billing. It frequently interacts with C1 customers, internal billing and sales resources. This position has a high degree of visibility and is expected to positively impact the business by significantly reducing the involvement of sales resources with respect to billing disputes while simultaneously improving DSO and customer satisfaction. A strong focus on continuous improvement is always expected.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Researches and resolves complex customer billing disputes
Assists in root cause identification and resolution to eliminate similar issues from reoccurring
Works closely with internal resources and customers to gather data from various sources (e.g., CRM, ERP) to confirm and determine course of action leading to dispute resolution
Conducts frequent “report outs” on findings, process improvements and status
Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Interacts with Sales Team periodically to obtain feedback and continuously improve customer satisfaction as it relates to billing process
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, General Business or equivalent related experience
3+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Collections
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high volume/paced environment
Highly organized and strong attention to detail
Strong teamwork and conflict resolutions skills/experience
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Prior complex billing experience in a business similar to C1
Familiarity with NetSuite ERP system
