What You'll Do:

We’re looking for an Assistant Director - Engineering to join our Benefits and Protection Data and Analytics Technology team. In this role, you’ll lead data engineering teams, set strategic direction/goals and drive Agile engineering practices!

Act decisively on performance concerns, providing coaching to elevate or make necessary changes. 

Shape Data and Analytics Strategy and Vision: Work closely with product teams and other leaders to develop and communicate bold, forward-thinking strategies that inspire teams to deliver results. Paint the big picture, focusing on global thinking across teams and business units. Build resiliency in both systems and processes, ensuring stability and value in every delivery. 

Stay Ahead of Technology Trends: Evaluate emerging technology developments.  Consult and communicate with business partners to understand business strategy and make recommendations on future technical trends/directions that will enable differentiating outcomes.   

Develop and Empower Talent: Build and mentor high-performing teams, recognizing and nurturing exceptional talent. Who You Are:

You have a Bachelor's Degree and 8 or more years of related experience in an enterprise environment.  

You have experience supporting engineers with business problems, solutioning architectural issues and quarterly planning.  

You have excellent leadership, problem solving, analytical, and decision making skills  

You are adaptable, flexible, innovative, influential, collaborative and have the ability to learn from experiences and setbacks

Salary Range Information:

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range:

Time Off Program:

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
