Our respiratory therapists serve patients at every moment of life -- the beginning, the end and all the moments in between. Our dynamic respiratory team is ready to provide excellent care in any situation and at any time. 

Your Role in Our Mission:

Our Respiratory Therapy team combines expertise, cutting-edge technology and a compassionate touch to improve patients’ respiratory health and enhance their quality of life. From routine breathing treatments to critical cases requiring advanced intervention, you will be challenged to think on your feet and adapt to your patients’ needs.

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapy Student to help us continue bringing advanced respiratory care to our patients.

Works under the supervision of aManager/Respiratory Care [Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)].

Delivers patient care within a defined practice scope; assists patients with daily livingactivities.

Maintains an environment conducive to patients’ safety.

Supportsachieving recognized world-class health care.

Follows all TallahasseeMemorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) policies, procedures, and requirements.

Actively supports a commitment to TMH’s mission and vision.

Consistently displays behaviors in harmony with the ICARE values (integrity, compassion,accountability, respect, and excellence).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:

Required Education:

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory therapy program;

Must have successfully completed at least one (1) clinical semester of the core curriculum

Required Experience:

None

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understands age-specific needs of the patient population served. 

Good communication skills. 

Ability to alter job role (as necessary).
