Overview:
We have a full-time opportunity for a Warehouse Lead in the Parts department. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day workflow in the warehouse and serve as a dependable lead to team members to ensure smooth operations
Responsibilities:
Serve as positive role model and lead to team by performing all job duties in accordance with TEC values - with a focus on teamwork, being accountable and taking ownership of tasks, problem-solving, and always striving toward the satisfaction and success of our customers.
Work with Parts Manager to delegate tasks to warehouse team to achieve optimal workflow, coach and motivate team
Train new warehouse staff and work with team members to provide a welcoming environment
Promote a safe work environment through own actions. Immediately notify supervisor of any safety concerns, injuries, or accidents
Accurately enter information into inventory system and ensure all other records kept are clear and accurate
Work with Parts and Service Managers to create and maintain inventory levels of mobile repair units
Assist team with all other warehouse duties as needed:
Check in and put stock away
Dirty core processing and shipping
Receive various shipments (UPS, FedEx, LTL freight, etc.)
Pull parts for will call and delivery customers
Clean and organize warehouse and shelves
Monitor cleanliness and integrity of trucks through daily truck inspection form
Qualifications:
Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, preferably within Parts department
Experience in warehouse lead role with successful experience training and coaching team members desired
Experience in truck or trailer industry
Basic computer skills to be able to accurately enter data
Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail, highly motivated to get tasks done, and able to motivate and communicate effectively with others
Flexibility in schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
Able to become forklift certified and to operate forklift
Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs and meet all other physical requirements of the job, performing work in safe and alert manner (job requires frequent lifting/moving, climbing, stooping, kneeling, seeing, grasping, etc.)
Valid driver’s license
