OSI Optoelectronics is seeking an Assembler for its second shift (4:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.) to perform limited electronic and electromechanical production assembly and assembly operations of repetitive nature to build up and assemble routine units.
Responsibilities:
Use small hand tools such as soldering irons and tweezers under microscope.
Works with epoxy and other chemicals.
Operates from assembly drawings, diagrams, blueprints or previously established methods.
Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge of component identification desired.
Ability to understand Assembly drawings desired.
Ability to effectively read, write and communicate using English language.
Must be able to work schedule of 4pm-12:30am.
