Baystate Dental is growing and we're hiring a Dental Hygienist to add to our amazing team at our office located in Chicopee, MA 01020. This is a full-time position working Wednesday & Thursday 7am-7pm, Friday 7am-5pm and every other Saturday 8am-2pm. Great schedule for someone who enjoys having a lot of days off!

To ensure our hygienists get off to a successful start, the candidate we hire will go through a short training program, so when they begin to see patients, they will feel confident and comfortable in their new position within our team. We take pride in keeping up with the latest technologies and are excited to be adding Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) and Overjet AI in the near future. Both are sure to be game changers for both our staff and our patients!
Previous experience is great but we also welcome new hygiene grads to apply. The Hygienist we hire must have an active Hygiene license for the state of Massachusetts or must be applying for license soon.
Responsibilities:
Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
Other duties as assigned

Active Hygiene license for the state you applied, required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
