Job Description:

* Maintenance Engineer reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working as a key member of the maintenance team you will ensure plant machinery and equipment is maintained to a high standard. You will be 18th Edition and ideally skilled in Electrical / 3 phase equipment / Inverters / Hydraulic / Pneumatic / CNC controlled Machines / PLC’s and PPM’s.

* Previous experience required to successfully perform electrical installations and commissioning of new equipment, plan preventative maintenance schedules, and assist with maintenance projects.

* Providing prompt response and resolutions to breakdown inquiries, record all maintenance activity on the system and identify and source spares and equipment in a timely manner to reduce production down time.

* Identify faults and repair issues in line with best practice and current H&S and Continuous Improvement.

* You will perform other tasks to maintain the fabric of the building, fixtures and fittings, support equipment and asset installations and decommissions in accordance with the maintenance schedule of activities.

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills / qualifications / attributes:

* Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer will be qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ / Apprentice trained or equivalent within maintenance and have worked within manufacturing.

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualified.

* Preferably have experience of 3 phase, Inverters and PLC’s.

Excellent Package:

Electrical Maintenance Engineer working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, working Morning & Afternoon shifts weekly rotating 6am-2pm, 2pm – 10pm.

Competitive salary circa £45.5k per annum, Plus bonus & premium overtime rates.
