JOB – Quality Inspector
LOCATION – Milton Keynes
TERM - Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 - £43,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
A new opportunity has arisen to join a globally recognized precision engineering company. The company is looking for Quality Engineer to join their new and expanding team.
Ideally the Quality Inspector will ideally have the following attributes:
A wide knowledge and experience of using manual inspection equipment
Knowledge of CMM
Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Working knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100
Basic computer skills
Motivated individual, capable of using initiative and being a team player
Flexible and open to learn, give and receive feedback to improve & grow.The Quality Assurance role will involve:
Carrying out 'first off' and final inspections.
Accurate and appropriate measurement of product features to determine conformance/non-conformance to drawing/model
Improvement of the inspection processes to increase efficiency and/or effectiveness
Adheres to the requirements of the company Health & Safety Policies & Quality Management System
To liaise with the shop floor on local product Quality issues & systems to support delivery of conforming product.
Ensure no product non-conformity escapes to customers
Conducting inspection processes to meet Customer & internal requirements
Conducting measurements of products/ tooling and fixtures as required
