A family motivated, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Building Control Surveyor to join their team and help lead on BSA PD compliance.
The Building Control Surveyor Role
The successful Building Control Surveyor will lead on BSA/Building Regulations PD compliance, ensuring that all projects adhere to the latest regulations and safety standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, providing expert guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and other relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
Leading the compliance process for BSA/Building Regulations PD on various projects.
Providing expert advice and guidance on the Building Safety Act 2022 and building regulations.
Conducting thorough inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Collaborating with design and construction teams to address compliance issues and implement best practices.
Preparing and reviewing reports, documentation, and safety files.
Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure clear communication and effective compliance management.
Delivering training and updates on the Building Safety Act 2022 and building regulations to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Extensive experience as a Building Control Surveyor, with a strong focus on compliance health and safety.
In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and current building regulations.
Proven ability to lead and manage compliance processes on complex projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, with strong problem-solving abilities.
Relevant qualifications in building control, surveying, or a related field.
