About the Role:
Our client, a dynamic and privately owned building consultancy, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This role offers the flexibility to work on-site or from home, with occasional office attendance in Leeds or the North West office (1-2 days per week as needed). You will collaborate closely with the Quantity Surveying (QS) team, reporting directly to the Associate QS, delivering projects for a variety of sectors including blue chip retail clients, healthcare, residential, commercial, and leisure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate project costs from inception to completion
* Work with the QS team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
* Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
* Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets
* Support procurement processes and manage contracts
* Deliver high-quality results for clients across diverse sectors including retail, healthcare, residential, commercial, and leisure
Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field
* Friendly, driven, and a strong communicator
* A focus on delivering quality outcomes for clients across multiple sectors
* Chartered status is not required, but support is available for those keen to pursue it
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team
