Stock Administrator
Thurrock
Hours: 40 hours per week, working on a rotating shift pattern: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £13 per hour.
Role Summary:
Reporting to the Stock Control Manager, the Stock Administrator will play a crucial role in managing incoming and outgoing stock, supporting stock processes, and ensuring smooth logistical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
" Collaborate with a small team to manage stock efficiently.
" Understand and support the delivery process and stock demand.
" Monitor incoming emails related to stock changes.
" Oversee stock movements between depots.
" Process daily transfers and pick sheets for the warehouse.
" Create delivery and customer collection notes.
" Manage customs and excise procedures.
" Support the Stock Team Leader in day-to-day operations.
" Reconcile stock using SAP.
" Maintain accurate records and spreadsheets.
Experience & Skills:
" IT literate, with proficiency in MS Office (experience with SAP is preferred).
" Previous administrative experience in logistics or warehousing is desirable.
" Strong team player with excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
" High attention to detail with solid numeracy and literacy skills.
" Customer service experience is beneficial.
