GRS are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead and oversee construction projects at water treatment sites in the Severn Trent region. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial role in enhancing water treatment facilities to support sustainable and efficient water services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage construction projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.

* Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate smooth project execution.

* Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets while identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

* Oversee site operations, ensuring that all construction activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety practices.

* Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

* Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager or similar role in the water treatment or related sector.

* SMSTS, First Aid

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices, particularly in water treatment and environmental projects.

* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.

* Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and environmental standards.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
