We are currently supporting a long-term client of ours who are looking to add a Senior Software Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis with the option of remote working.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Take ownership for developing IT solutions that support services and products.

* Building and deploying scalable systems and applications.

* Drive collaboration, leading on design sessions, pair programming and backlog grooming.

* Collaborate with a wider international team.

* Analysing business requirements working with internal teams to design documentation.

* Oversee maintenances and upgrades of existing software applications.

* Providing support in all phases of SDLC.

* Troubleshooting issues in a timely manner.

* Support and mentor junior members of the team.

The successful candidate will have:

* Previous experience in a similar role.

* Experience developing Java applications.

* Experience with AWS Services (S3,EC2,Lambda,RDS).

* Experience with Agile working.

* Experience working with RESTful services.

* Ability to communicate technical concepts across various teams.

* Ability to meet tight deadlines.

* Ability to understand user requests.
