Accounts Assistant/Accountant - Leicester (Hybrid after probation) - Up to £35,000 per annum
A leading and creative organisation is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant/Accountant (depending on experience) to join their team welcoming team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while ensuring the financial accuracy and compliance of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, reconcile, and analyse monthly management accounts.
- Complete monthly tasks to include, accruals, and prepayments, reconciliations and balance sheets.
- Assist in producing financial.
- Drive accounting quality, financial control, and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with ad-hoc duties as needed, including covering workload within the wider team.
Required Skills:
- Part-qualified or intending to become qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience working within a fast paced role (hospitality, retail, manufacturing, etc).
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Enjoy solving problems and proactively engaging with others.
- Excellent customer service skills with a collaborative approach.
- Good time management skills, able to prioritize effectively under pressure.
