Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and production staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
Develop and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
Manage capital projects, including budgeting, planning, and equipment upgrades.
Utilize project management tools like Microsoft Project to ensure timelines and resources are efficiently managed.
Design and develop tooling for manufacturing, including custom fixtures and jigs.
Oversee process planning and NC programming for both new and existing products.
Own and execute the capital equipment plan, preparing write-ups and managing project approvals.
Establish production standards and develop manufacturing plans for new equipment.
Recommended Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related roles.
Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering results.
Proven experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Expertise in developing manufacturing tools and equipment.
Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project.
Preferred Qualifications:
Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with cross-functional teams.
Experience in NC programming and process planning.
Strong background in managing capital projects and equipment upgrades.
