The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our vibrant school in Southend-on-Sea. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to inspire students in developing their physical education skills and promote a healthy, active lifestyle. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3(TLR available)
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
Encourage students to participate in a variety of sports and physical activities, fostering teamwork and personal development.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for improvement.
Organise and oversee extra-curricular sports clubs and school teams, including participation in local and regional competitions.
Work collaboratively with the PE department to enhance the curriculum and promote healthy lifestylesAbout You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in physical education and experience teaching at secondary level.
Ability to motivate and inspire students to develop their physical abilities and teamwork skills.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
