An exciting CNC Miller/Turner position has become available in Walsall at a precision engineering company.

Job Title: CNC Miller/Turner Setter Operator

Shift: Lates, 2pm – 10pm Monday - Friday or potentially would look at 2pm – Midnight Monday - Thursday

Rate: £15 p/h + 15% shift allowance

The Job

* Operating CNC lathes & VMCs

* Setting CNC machines if required.

* Checking own work

* Maintain clean and tidy stations

* Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.

* Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.

Requirements

* Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company

* Must be able to read technical drawings

* Must be familiar with Fanuc controls

* Able to complete aptitude test upon interview

* Relevant Engineering Qualification

* Ideally Apprentice Trained

* Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail

* Team Player

* Flexible
