Job Opportunity: Specifications Technologist (Food Manufacturing)
We are seeking an experienced Specifications Technologist on behalf of our client, a leading food manufacturing company. This is a full-time, on-site position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000 DOE.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, manage, and maintain product specifications for food manufacturing processes.
* Ensure all product documentation meets both company and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including NPD, technical, and production departments to guarantee accurate product data.
* Stay up-to-date with UK food regulations, ensuring compliance across the board.
* Communicate technical information to both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in writing and managing specifications in the UK food manufacturing industry is essential.
* Strong knowledge of UK food laws, labelling, and regulatory requirements.
* Attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with different departments.
* Hybrid working is not available—candidates must be prepared to work on-site five days a week.
