Kitchen Porter
Location: Petersfield
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Bee Happy Recruitment are working with a beautiful family run, 17th century Inn, serving real ale and local produce in Petersfield who are looking to hire a kitchen porter on a full-time basis.
Please note due to the location of the pub candidates will need to have their own form of transport.
About the role:
* Dishwashing: Cleaning dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils either by hand or using industrial dishwashers.
* Cleaning kitchen surfaces and equipment: Ensuring worktops, floors, ovens, stoves, and other kitchen appliances are clean and sanitized.
* Waste disposal: Emptying bins and properly disposing of waste and recyclable materials.
* Food prep support: Basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, or grating ingredients.
* Stock organization: Storing ingredients and unpacking deliveries.
* Ensuring equipment is ready: Keeping tools like knives, blenders, and mixers clean and ready for use.
* Adhering to hygiene standards: Following health and safety regulations for food preparation and cleanliness.
* Deep cleaning: Performing more intensive cleaning tasks, such as scrubbing ovens, deep fryers, and refrigerators.
* Sanitizing areas: Keeping all food prep areas sanitary, especially at the start and end of shifts.
* Monitoring supplies: Keeping an eye on stock levels of cleaning products and kitchen supplies like sponges and detergents.
* Receiving deliveries: Helping to check, unpack, and store food and kitchen supplies from deliveries.
The candidate will be expected to work a 45-hour week, with a shift pattern on 5 days on, 2 days off on a rotating basis
