The Role:
As a CNC Setter Operator, you will:
* Set and operate CNC Milling, Turning, or other production machines.
* Produce accurate, high-quality components to drawing tolerance and specifications.
* Plan and specify tooling requirements, including jigs and fixtures.
* Make tool changes, amendments, and minor program changes.
* Inspect your own components, including first offs and in cycle.
* Maintain a neat and tidy working area, adhering to 5S and general housekeeping standards.
* Report faults to the Coordinator or Engineers promptly.
* Adhere to production schedules as instructed.
The Candidate:
To be successful as a CNC Setter Operator, you should have:
* 2+ years of experience working in a factory, specifically with VMC/VMG machinery.
* Strong problem-solving skills and close attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* A positive, professional, and "can do" attitude.
* Previous use of Fanuc.
* Candidates must have their own transport.
