Trainee CAD Technician
Location: Newmarket, Suffolk
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:45am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:45am – 1:30pm
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 Depending on Experience
Benefits: 22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (rising with length of service), pension scheme, life assurance, half day on a Friday!

Duties to include:
* Generate production drawings, working from customer supplied information.
* Using both 2D and 3D drawing packages such as SolidWorks.
* Assist with internal sales support to include costing and quoting customer designs from enquiries.
* Assist in the generation of Sheetmetal programs (full training will be given for this aspect)
* General drawing office administration
What we are looking for:
* BTEC in Engineering or equivalent
* Ideally some previous experience using 3D CAD- preferably SolidWorks- although full training will be given- this can be from your college course.
* A desire to work in a small friendly team environment.
