About the role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience of our students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 by supporting classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet diverse learning needs, assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with specific requirements, leading small group activities and interventions to boost student progress and confidence, monitoring and assessing student progress while providing feedback to both teachers and parents, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and engagement.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a primary school setting.

• Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and best practices in teaching and learning.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, staff, and parents.

• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development in a diverse educational environment.

• Commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to create stimulating and effective learning experiences.

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.

• Maintain a clear and consistent approach to behaviour management in line with school policies.

• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to the school’s growth.
