Production Manager – Days – Birmingham
Salary: £43,000 + Early Finish on Fridays
Are you a driven Production Manager looking for your next challenge? We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team at our Birmingham site, managing day-to-day production and ensuring optimal efficiency in a safe and healthy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety: Maintain a safe, healthy workplace and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Production Planning: Oversee production schedules and output targets, ensuring efficient, on-time production across shifts.
Rhombus System: Utilise the Rhombus production planning system for accurate and effective production management.
Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance productivity, focusing on efficiency and streamlined processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with the quality department to maintain high standards of product quality and performance.
Lean Manufacturing: Play a role in Lean initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement, though this is not the primary focus.
Team Leadership: Manage a team of around 60 staff, including direct reports from 3 shift managers. Support and develop team leaders and operatives.
