Position: Tree Surgeon
Location:CO7 7SY

Start Date: Immediate Start
Working Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM (Monday to Friday)
Rate of Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Job Role:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tree Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in arboriculture and tree management, with the ability to safely handle tree maintenance tasks. You will be working on a variety of projects, ensuring the health and safety of trees while preserving the surrounding landscape.

Responsibilities:

* Tree pruning, felling, and removal

* Crown reduction, thinning, and lifting

* Hedge trimming and shaping

* Stump grinding and removal

* Tree planting and aftercare

* Perform tree risk assessments and site surveys

* Operate chainsaws, chippers, and other arborist equipment

* Adhere to health and safety regulations on-site

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Tree Surgeon or Arborist

* Relevant qualifications in Arboriculture (NPTC/LANTRA certificates preferred)

* Ability to work safely with chainsaws, chippers, and other tree surgery equipment

* Strong understanding of tree biology, diseases, and best practices in tree care

* Good physical fitness and ability to work in challenging outdoor environments

* Full UK driving licence preferred
