NW Recruitment are in search of Quality Assurance Inspectors to work on the shop floor of a busy manufacturing firm based in Burnley.

This particular role would require you to work on the day shift (6am-2pm).

Job Description

To actively monitor the quality levels within the press shop and communicate any issues to the relevant staff in order to ensure customer requirements are met and communicated throughout.

Key Tasks

* Patrol inspection of production within the press shop department.

* Calibration and issuing of gauges and test equipment. Issuing of drawings and customer quality requirements.

* Carry out first off reports and tests on job set ups within the press shop department.

* Isolation and control of non-conforming parts/materials.

* General inspection department duties.

Carries out other duties as and when required to include:

* Attend any training courses relevant to the job

* Attend customer visits where necessary

* Any other reasonable business request

Standard company requirements:

* Wear appropriate PPE at all times

* Work to the Company quality system, conducting oneself in a manner acceptable to the Company rules

* Maintain safe working practices and good housekeeping at all times and able to understand and apply Health, Safety and Environmental requirements

* Demonstrate the required level of proficiency in communication skills
