One of the most reputable aerospace project businesses is in need of a Sr. System Engineers- Avionics, according to iO Associates. with a team that develops, designs, manufactures, and maintains products and systems that guarantee military might, protect national security, and uphold the confidentiality of crucial information and infrastructure.

You will analyze customer requirements, lead safety and feasibility assessments, and conduct technical evaluations to define scope, impact, and final Avionic Design recommendations.

Job Title: Senior Avionics Systems Engineer
Location: Warton (Hybrid/Flexible options available)
Salary: £47,683 - £52,426 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer requirements and perform safety and feasibility assessments for key subsystems.
  • Review and assess requirements (SOR, SRD) to define the "Problem Space" and document it in the Avionic System Scope and Feasibility Analysis Report (ASFAR).
  • Lead initial safety evaluations of design changes, identifying potential risks and hazards.
  • Conduct technical assessments of Customer Business Cases to outline the scope, impact, and solutions, culminating in the final Avionic Design recommendation.

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong systems engineering expertise, ideally in aerospace or defense.
  • Experience in requirements capture, management, and formal documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

This is a hybrid role with visits to the site.
