Parallel Employment Group is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Parts Inventory Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and tracking maintenance parts inventory, ensuring that all parts are properly cataloged and readily available for use.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the inventory of maintenance parts, ensuring accuracy and availability
Order parts
Negotiate pricing of parts
Gathering parts of various rooms for the building
Reaching out to supliers
Researching Parts
Maintain accurate records of parts usage and stock levels
Receive and inspect incoming parts and materials
Organize storage and maintain a clean and orderly inventory area
Collaborate with maintenance staff to identify needs and replenish stock as required
Perform regular inventory audits to minimize discrepancies
Utilize inventory management software for tracking and reporting
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
Previous experience in parts inventory management or warehouse settings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Purchasing background
Approachable
Common Sense
Parts background
Excel knowledge
Salary: Based on Experience
Shift: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift Saturdays as needed
