Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Sevenoaks, Kent

Seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team in Sevenoaks. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teachering in delivering engaging and effective learning experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the educational journey of students and make a meaningful impact within our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with teachers to assist in the planning and implementation of lessons, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.

* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, offering guidance and reinforcement of learning objectives.

* Assist in the creation of educational materials and resources, fostering an interactive and stimulating learning environment.

* Support students with additional needs, including those with learning difficulties or English as an additional language, ensuring their inclusion and participation in classroom activities.

* Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional development through encouragement and constructive feedback.

* Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and orderly learning environment, adhering to school policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.

* A passion for education and a genuine desire to support the learning and development of students.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.

* Adaptability and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the classroom environment.

* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

* A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
