Primary Purpose

The Software Development Engineer - Frontend will have a strong focus on Single Page Applications (SPA), React, and microfrontend technologies. They are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications hosted in AWS, ensuring seamless user experiences and optimal performance. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and enhance web applications that meet our high standards for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend solutions using React and SPA principles.

Implement and maintain microfrontend architectures to enhance modularity and improve deployment processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to deliver compelling user experiences.

Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, particularly focusing on performance for React apps hosted in S3.

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide solutions to complex development challenges.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards.

Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality.

Work in an agile environment and contribute to continuous improvement processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in frontend development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3 or more years of related professional experience.

Proven experience as a frontend developer with a strong focus on SPA and React.

Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks.

Experience with microfrontend architectures and their implementation.

Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3, CloudFront, Lambda, and other related technologies.

Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools.

Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong multitasking, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Satisfactory background check required.
