Our client requires an IT Systems Administrator to support and maintain IT systems, ensuring effective service delivery and collaboration with stakeholders. They are committed to rewarding their employees for their impactful, challenging work, so here are the perks:

You will be the kind of person who wants to make a difference within your day-to-day work, but of course there are a few other requirements:

Proven track record as a Systems Administrator with SaaS experience.
Current role within an IT Helpdesk team.
Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment and manage diverse stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with O365 administration and corporate network management (firewall, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN).
Experience managing critical system outages and improving IT policies.
Knowledge of Windows PC, laptop, and server environments.
Familiarity with ISO 27001 and Cisco networking principles.
Working knowledge of PowerShell and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
IT-related qualification required.

In this role you will be working in and amongst the global IT Team to ensure their IT business systems and infrastructure support the company's global growth plans. You will also be responsible for:

Supporting the Corporate IT Help Desk by responding to tickets and meeting SLA requirements.
Assisting local and global employees and partners with IT systems and networks.
Contributing to the delivery of IT system, application, and network projects.
Supporting corporate networks, including firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
Maintaining assigned systems and applications.
Participating in the Change Advisory Board and conforming to Change Management policies.
Documenting and maintaining consistent processes aligned with information security management.
Providing training and communication on IT systems for all employees.
Gathering requirements and supporting the procurement and configuration of new business systems.
Promoting a culture of continual improvement and workplace satisfaction.
Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, ethics, and best practices.
Handling complaints in a courteous manner and ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
Undertaking other duties as required.

Job Title: IT Systems Administrator

Location: Motherwell, Scotland

Salary: £190.92 (PAYE) per day OR £250.50 (UMB) per day

Full Time: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

12 Months Temporary Contract - Inside IR35
