SEN Teaching Assistant in Islington - Education and Training
Calling all actors and Performing Arts students in Islington?
Are you looking for rewarding work in a fun work environment? Could you support children with special educational needs to access education? We provide staff to schools across the area, and we believe in the values of kindness, inclusion, and respect- does this sound like you?
Are you eager to work in the education sector and are close to Islington? Are you confident in working with children with autism, cerebral palsy, MLD, SpLD, or other SEN barriers?
The Job - SEN Teaching Assistant - education and training
You'll be kept busy, working with pupils across all ages within the classroom to access their education as a SEN Teaching Assistant. Your days will be varied, supporting children to engage with tasks set by the class teacher and reach their full potential. You'll take initiative, be resilient and drive pupils to achieve and progress. You'll work on learning activities, promote confidence and encourage pupils to act independently to succeed in Islington.
To apply, you must have:
An enhanced DBS check, or must be willing to apply for one
2 checkable references
Positive attitude towards education and desire to work with children
Good communication skills
Bright and high-energy personality!
Be able to commute to Islington for education and trainingWhy work for us?
