Position Details:

* Position: Night Healthcare Assistant

* Location: Burton-on-Trent

* Hours per Week: 36-48 (3-4 nights per week)

* Hourly Rate: £12.04 per hour / NVQ 3 qualified: £12.75 per hour

* No NVQ Level 2 or 3 Required, (Although preferable)

The Care Home

Xealthcare are currently recruiting for multiple night care assistants to join our clients highly respected nursing home on a permanent, full-time contract. Located in the beautiful and tranquil countryside within the Burton-on-Trent area.

The 40-bed nursing home specialises in offering a variety of first-class care services, ranging from residential and respite to nursing and dementia care for elderly residents. Though a skilled and experienced care team have shown their effectiveness in assisting with a wide range of healthcare requirements. This nursing home has an overall ‘GOOD’ rating by CQC.

Healthcare Assistant

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients residents. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, administering medication, supporting daily activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of our residents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients residents and contribute to their health and happiness.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.

* Administering medication in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.

* Supporting residents with daily activities, such as meal preparation, eating, and mobility.

* Monitoring and recording residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.

* Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.

* Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.

* Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.

Requirements:

* No requirement of NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, but it would be ideal.

* Prior experience in a care setting or similar role is preferred.

* Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

* Respect for privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
