Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Claims Administrator to join Derbyshire County Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday based in Matlock.
Key Duties
* Administer claims for the County Council and other parties
* Gather and process information to enable accurate assessments
* Manipulate, reconcile and monitor risk and insurance records through detailed data analysis
* Assist in maintaining systems, guidance notes and procedure manuals
* Provide information and support to those within the service area and other departments
* Handling queries from internal and external customers
* Contribute to the success of the team, planning and organising workload to meet deadlines
Requirements:
* Excellent numeracy, literacy and accuracy skills and an ability to use initiative to solve problems
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Customer care and resolution-focused and an ability to prioritise and work accurately
* Experience of working with database systems and Microsoft packages
* Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Educated to level 2, including NVQ and GCSE or equivalent
