Azure Infrastructure Architect

DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of an industry leading client who are looking for an Azure Infrastructure Architect to join the team on a permanent basis in their London office (hybrid working).

The role will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of Cloud Infrastructure technology solutions that meet the strategic objectives of the global business.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the establishment of Azure cloud technology principles, standards, guidelines, reference models, and platform engineering practices.
- Play a key role in shaping cloud strategy and roadmap.
- Support fellow architects in cloud infrastructure design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, infrastructure engineers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Effectively communicate complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills/Experience:
- Good experience in Cloud Architecture with an Infrastructure background.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft stack (Azure, M365).
- Experience of agile and Platform Engineering practices.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security.

Desired Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or experience.
- Professional certifications in architecture or cloud technologies (eg AZ-104/AZ-400, AZ305).
