Technical Author

Location: Balcombe, West Sussex

Role: Monday – Friday, Hybrid

Salary: £35k + car allowance depending on experience

Here at Project Partners, we are now on the look out for an experienced Technical Author based in Sussex, who is now seeking a new permanent opportunity where they can utilise their technical author skills to the next level.

The purpose of the role is to produce all areas of ‘Handover Documentation’ to clients required standard. This will involve liaising with Site Team and external suppliers, producing documentation such as Operations & Maintenance Manuals, Training Plans, Health & Safety Files and Asset Data Registers.

Technical Authoring of:

* O&M Manuals

* H&S Files

* Training Plans

* Asset Data Register

* Working to tight deadlines.

* Liaising with others.

* Ability to attend operational & in-construction sites.

* Printing & general admin tasks.

* Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post

Candidate Experience Required

* Experience of producing required Technical Handover Documentation, and meeting deadlines

* Knowledge of the water utilities industry, and of construction sites H&S rules

* Must be able to work to own initiative and as part of a team. With hybrid working, must be self-motivational

* Strong on Microsoft Office & SharePoint

* Good communication and organisational skills

* Verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

* Full driving license (essential)

* CSCS (desirable)

* EUSR National Water Hygiene (desirable)

Training will be provided if needed for the desirable qualifications.
