About The Role
We're seeking a Senior / Staff-level engineer to spearhead the development and enhancement of our data processing, automation, and API infrastructure. Depending on your interests, there's room to contribute to user-facing full-stack product development and AI-focused features. We're looking for individuals who can lead projects, mentor team members, and take on leadership responsibilities within the team.
What You'll Do
Design and build software capable of reaching millions of users.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and analysts to understand user needs deeply and develop a product that addresses those needs.
Develop and execute short and long-term roadmaps, balancing business impact, user experience, and technical quality.
Contribute to the improvement of the team and company culture through mentorship, interviewing, and new initiatives.
Foster relationships with other engineering teams and collaborate across functions.
Identify, prioritize, and resolve challenges faced by our customers.
Work with peers to design and build tools and capabilities that facilitate efficient development and use of our platform.
Write high-quality, performant code and support peer teams throughout the company.
Requirements
What We're Seeking
Must Have
Proficiency in web application backends, particularly Django & Django Rest Framework.
Experience managing infrastructure on Google Cloud.
5+ years of professional experience.
US work authorization preferred; remote work from the US is feasible (office in NYC).
Experience as a tech lead and coaching junior team members.
Nice to Have
Experience in sprint planning.
BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
Enthusiasm for working on both backend and frontend projects.
Passion for solving complex problems and building scalable processes.
