TeacherActive are proud to be working with an esteemed children’s residential home provider to source a permanent Residential Support Worker for their Wolverhampton3 bed EBD home. Consistency is key with young people, you can have a major impact on children’s lives.
Shifts are :
Long day - 7am-10pm
Sleep - Until 7.30am (£50 per sleep)
2 days on 4 days off
Children’s Residential Support Worker role requires:
Minimum 3 months working with children/young adults in the education or care sector (desirable)
Minimum Level 3 NVQ in children's residential care or equivalent (desirable)
A full UK driving licence (essential)
The Residential Home can accommodate children up to 18 years of age. Due to the nature of this post the Department for Education National Minimum Standards state that the support workers must be 4 years older than the oldest resident. Therefore, applicants must be 22 years of age or older.
We are also interested in seeing CV's from: Children's home team lead, Senior RSW, Residential Team Lead, Children's home supervisor, Qualified residential support worker, residential support worker.
