Prime Appointments are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to work in Brentwood, Essex.

This is for a logistics distribution and supply chain company supplying to some of the biggest venues, arenas and shopping centres in the UK. They are a dynamic fast-moving distribution company looking to build on their existing team.

The Warehouse Operative is a temporary to permanent role.

Only candidates with own transport will be considered for this role.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

Picking and packing orders from a pick sheet
Loading and unloading of goods from containers and lorries, which will include heavy lifting
General housekeeping of all areas of warehouse
Completing regular stock checks

The ideal Warehouse Operative candidate:

No previous experience is necessary
Able to work within a small team
Own transport is essential for this role due to location, it is not accessible via public transport.
Due to the nature of this work this role all candidates will need to be physically fit and able to do manual heavy lifting
Able to read and write - picking will be done from a manual pick list
Forklift Licence would be a good advantage but not essential

Pay rate and working hours:

£12.00ph
Monday- Friday
08:00-17:00
