Position: Front Desk Receptionist (aka Bartender)
As a Bartender at Drybar, you’ll be at the heart of our client experience, ensuring everyone leaves with a smile and fabulous hair. Your role will be dynamic and engaging, with plenty of opportunities to shine.
Locations:
River North: 755 N Wells St.
Lincoln Park: 1611 N Sheffield Ave
W Hotel: 172 W Adams St.

Your Areas of Responsibility:
Client Experience Guru: Lead our clients through their Drybar journey from check-in to check-out, ensuring they receive the top-notch service we’re famous for.
Shop Flow Master: Keep things running smoothly by checking in and out clients, assigning them to Stylists, and delegating tasks to ensure everyone knows their role.
Bar and Retail Aficionado: Maintain the pristine appearance of our bar and retail displays, ensuring everything looks fabulous and inviting.
Sales Specialist: Actively promote and sell Drybar products and memberships, as this is a key part of your role. Your success in sales not only enhances the client experience but also earns you a commission on each sale!
Atmosphere Creator: Engage with clients and team members to create a lively, bar-like atmosphere that makes Drybar the go-to place for a fun and fabulous experience.
Cash Handling Pro: Manage cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
Training Champion: Educate new Bartenders on everything they need to know, from using Booker to understanding our core values and non-negotiables, setting them up for success from day one.
Sales Reporter: Keep track of and report daily sales results, ensuring we stay on top of our game.
Communication Extraordinaire: Liaise with off-site receptionists to ensure smooth communication and operations.
Schedule:
Rise and Shine: Opening shifts run from 6:15am to 2pm. Start your day early and watch the magic of transformations happen before lunchtime!
Afternoon Delight: Closing shifts are from 2pm to 7pm/8pm. Perfect for those who like to hit their stride in the afternoon and keep the energy flowing into the evening.
Wage:
Earn a solid $16.20 per hour, plus commission! The more fabulous experiences you help create—and the more products and memberships you sell—the more you can earn. It’s a win-win!
