As we evolve our strategic priorities, we are seeking a Director of Strategic Program Management who will play a pivotal role in navigating change, aligning stakeholders, and driving key initiatives that shape MSK's future. 

The Opportunity: 

As Director, you will oversee complex, cross-functional projects that have broad organizational impact. Your ability to guide teams through change, adapt to evolving needs, and align leadership on high-level strategies will be crucial in driving MSK’s mission forward. You'll work directly with senior leaders to implement innovative solutions that address both current and future needs, ensuring MSK continues to set the global standard for cancer care.  

In this role, you will: 

Lead complex, cross-organizational projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with MSK's strategic goals. 

Partner closely with the executive team to shape forward-thinking solutions that support MSK's long-term vision. 

Facilitate collaboration across departments, aligning diverse stakeholders on strategies that drive organizational success. 

Serve as a change leader, navigating evolving needs and ensuring smooth transitions while minimizing disruption. 

Oversee project management methodologies, ensuring effective prioritization, resource allocation, and on-time execution. 

Monitor and manage project budgets, providing financial oversight and resolving variances as needed. 

Foster strong communication across teams, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. 

Key Qualifications: 

7-10 years of demonstrated leadership in strategic program or project management; healthcare experience is a plus. 

Proven success in leading large, cross-functional initiatives with significant organizational impact. 

Expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and change management. 

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and executives. 

A results-driven mindset, with the ability to navigate complex projects and shifting priorities. 

Experience in facilitating change across teams and driving stakeholder engagement. 

  

Core Skills: 

Expertise in aligning strategies with broader organizational objectives and driving their execution. 

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage executives and provide clear, actionable updates. 

Ability to lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring transitions are smooth and disruptions are minimized. 

Analytical mindset, capable of solving problems quickly and making informed decisions. 

Strong financial and business acumen, with experience in project budgeting and cost-benefit analysis. 

Additional Information: 

Schedule: Hybrid, with onsite work required for collaborative meetings. 

Pay Range: $193,800 - $329,500
