Bon Secours Wellness Arena is seeking a part-time Conversion Crewmember to join our team. As a Conversion Crewmember, you will play a vital role in the setup and breakdown of events.
Responsibilities:
Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events.
Duties may include setting up and tearing down flooring, staging, tables, chairs, risers, barricades, hockey dashers, and other furnishings and equipment.
Operate forklifts, dollies, and other equipment as needed
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment
Collaborate with the team to complete tasks efficiently and on time
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in event setup and teardown preferred
Demonstrated experience working in physically demanding environment, such as but not limited to warehouse, construction, and manufacturing; and ability to lift heavy equipment
Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
Knowledge of forklift and other equipment operation is a plus
Benefits
PAY RATE: $13.00 per hour FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt/Hourly
WORK SHIFT:
Shift: average 6 hours
Night Shift- During & Post Event - 5 pm - Midnight;
Overnight Shift- Post Event – starts approximately 10:30 pm until completion
SCHEDULING: Each month you will receive an upcoming Event Calendar with details on event dates/times, YOU select the dates you are able to work for the entire month
