About You

We’re seeking a resulted-focused, innovative, self-driven and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as Operations Manager. Based out of our Clifton Park, New York State Location, you will be expected to direct an innovative, customer-centric, profitable, efficient conformal coatings team through visionary leadership, excellent client relationships management, planning and coordinating production and resource schedules.

You will:

Direct ECT's operations processes and managers by ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency standards are achieved, providing leadership consistent with the company's vision and values. Overseeing the day-to-day operations including health and safety, supply chain, accounting procedures, people management and production & maintenance.

Establish and manage extraordinary standards of customer service by leading all ECT Operations department to ensure production, supply chain and quality meet or exceeds customer delivery expectations.

Develop a responsive, high-performing operations team by establishing individual goals for the leadership team in alignment with overall organizational goals and perform periodic performance reviews to determine progress. Create and implement career development plans for current and future leadership team members.

Optimize the profitability of ECT by identifying areas for improvement and driving cost saving initiatives in line with BCE's strategic plan. Manage cost reporting in collaboration with ECT's Brand Director and the Global Production Director, ensuring that all ECT's G/L accounts meet budgetary expectations and create recovery plans as required.

Develop and maintain a high performing supply chain team by ensuring people, process and procedures are in place to manage all supply chain function including purchasing, inventory control and warehouse management. Manage the procurement budget and identify areas for cost reductions to support the P&L.

Ensure all ECT functions are in full environmental health and safety compliance by setting high standards of professional conduct relative to adherence to safe work practices, product quality, personal work habits, positive attitude, housekeeping and company policies.

Hold the operations team to high quality standards by ensuring ECT leaders manage direct reports to perform tasks as outlined in work instructions, quality specifications, and standard operating practices. Creating, managing and maintaining company and individual KPIs.

Rigorously enforce protocols pertaining to ITAR and ISO9001, and ensure nonconformance reports and corrective actions are efficiently investigated and executed.

Requirements

You should have:

BS/BA degree or higher in engineering, operations management or related field equivalent in experience

10+ years of production experience in the manufacturing industry, preferrably in an electro-mechanical setting

7+ years of management experience required

3+ years of experience with conformal coatings preferred

Excellent knowledge and experience working with ERPs; JD Edwards Enterprise-1 preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software essential.

Strong organizational skills, including planning, delegating, and prioritizing business activities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership skills with the capacity to motivate and manage a diverse team

Strong analytical and financial acumen

3+ years of experience in ISO 9000 quality programs preferred

Managerial experience of International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR) - USA citizenship or permanent resident status required (This is due to ITAR's regulations regarding access to defense-related information)

Salary Range: $102,000 - $156,000 per year.

Our company takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of our company's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range.

The range listed is just one component of our company's total compensation packages for employees.
