Job Description
PLEASE NOTE: This is a short term position with an estimated duration of 6 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
This position is responsible for assisting in the production of virtual and in-person CNBC Events. This role works closely with the event leads to create high quality experiences for our target audiences, sponsors, and speakers. We are looking for someone creative, solution oriented, well-organized, and able to multi-task with attention to detail. Ideal candidates should be able to work in a team setting and independently on job responsibilities.
Support team’s managers and event leads on overall production planning
Maintain and organize project documents, schedules, staffing lists, deliverables and deadlines
Help facilitate logistical details for in person and virtual events, including location set-up and breakdown, staging, A/V, branding, catering, giveaways and shipping
Work with designers on event graphics for both virtual and in-person events
Source and coordinate vendors based on timeline and budget expectations
Manage and negotiate vendor contracts, including facilitating legal review process
Assist onsite with event execution, including vendor arrivals and set-up
Collaborate with sales marketing team to meet sponsor requirements
Research and build decks with venue and activation ideas for various event formats
Bring new and creative ideas for event production, branding and attendee experience
Remain up-to-date on industry trends and advancements
