What You'll Do:
This position involves project management of code compliance projects, including reviewing plans, providing technical support, conducting inspections, monitoring project process for performance and budgetary conditions, proposal preparation, as well as attending project site meetings and assisting with the resolution to technical and administrative problems.
In this position you will be expected to mentor and train other code professionals as you progress.
Responsibilities also include assisting with management of P & L, marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions, and participating in marketing and business development functions related to code inspections
Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
Preparing reports and proposals
Overseeing proposal, field work, and report preparation
Maintaining and develop a client database
Managing budgets and prepare invoices
Mentoring other staff
Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE
What We're Looking For:
BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university; MS in Civil Engineering preferred
A minimum of 5 years of experience in code compliance plan review and/ or field inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and/or plan review
Must have valid ICC certification B2 or B3, M2 or M3, P2 or P3, E2 or E3
If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required
