Overview:
The Echocardiography Technologist uses Ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow and assists with other cardiac procedures including Holter scanning and Treadmill Stress testing.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:
This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.
Qualifications:
PRE-HIRE QUALIFICATIONS:
Complete at least 8 months of an accredited sonography program and provide proof of current enrollment
Previous Computer Experience, preferred
Knowledge of Joint Commission and Arkansas Department of Health requirements, preferred
