The Shipping Clerk – Level I will be responsible for preparing daily shipments of credit cards, equipment, and other materials. Will assist in the staging of large shipments, locating and pulling finished goods, and processing FedEx shipments. Will also assist in FG inventory control.

Hourly rate -      $21.00

shift diff -            $1.05

Hourly rate        $22.05

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-10:00pm

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Maintains expected levels of productivity for the work area.

Accurately packs and ships finished cards for assigned shift based on customer job ticket requirements.

Operates and maintains assigned shipping equipment (carton labeling system, card counter, shrink wrap machine, shipping tools, etc.) including performing minor preventative maintenance and repairs. Reports any major mechanical defects to Scheduling, Receiving and Shipping Manager and/or Maintenance.

Prepares all Packing Lists for production jobs.

Prepares all daily non-void shipments and related customer required paperwork supplied by Client Services and ships through FedEx.

Ensures all packing lists and data entered into Monarch are timely and accurate and update Monarch as needed so that shipping information, quantities, etc. appear correctly on all paperwork and labeling.

Keeps materials, supplies, product carts, boxes, cartons, and other supplies needed to be stocked in the department and notifies Scheduling, Receiving and Shipping Manager of any replacement inventory needs.

Adheres to all CPI security requirements including counting and documenting of all cards to and from the shipping department (Audit Trail Procedure).

Maintains cleanliness in the product shipping area.

Provides timely feedback to management regarding service failures or customer concerns.

Follows all customer mandated security procedures and process requirements.

Conducts self in a respectful and professional manner with a focus on teamwork, quality, and timeliness at all times.

Qualifications:

Requirements: 

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Ability to work a designated shift and overtime as required, may include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends.

Ability to operate Windows-based personal computers.

Ability or willingness to learn how to operate motorized pallet-jacks and forklifts.

Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary.

Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce and in a diverse environment.

Ability to follow processes.

Excellent attention to detail.

Willingness to learn and complete a variety of tasks/processes in production.

Reliability through good attendance, punctuality, and cooperation.

Experience in a production environment is a plus.

Experience using an ERP or similar software is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Ability to be present in the facility and work a minimum of 40 hours per week; overtime may be required

Work is conducted primarily in a standing position (up to 12 hrs/shift) and requires walking, bending, stooping, twisting and lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis and moving “roll around carts” which may weigh up to 100 pounds; also requires working  at a desk with the use of personal computers, telephone and fax equipment.

Exposure to manufacturing areas with higher levels of noise and will require ear protection.

Work involves good eyesight and full use of hands/fingers in order to use precision or semi-precision equipment, tools or instruments requiring deft hand movements to maintain safety.
