Hours:
Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Weekend Rotation approx. every 5 weeks
Duties and responsibilities:
Will work under the supervision of the Director of Plant Operations. Maintain grounds, physical structure and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, manufacturer guidelines and regulations.
Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and protocols.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, painting, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures. Address work orders properly and promptly.
Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, etc., as necessary/directed.
Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, stairs and entrances to facility.
Perform/document unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
Clean windows and screens as directed.
Service heating and cooling units/systems, generators as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Replace burned out light bulbs, to include, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc., and perform cleaning duties wherever necessary.
Alternate carrying security radio while on duty and ensure appropriate channel lock and volume.
Required skills and qualifications:
Electrician or HVAC certification / electrician license preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
3-5 Years of prior Plant Operations experience, preferred
Certified training to work in: plumbing, electrical, HVAC or a combination or related work experience.
