Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Operations Program Manager to join our dynamic team in the development of an Intelligent Operations solution leveraging AIOPs and ML to automate and enhance traditional ITSM Operations.  As the IT Ops PM you will oversee the development and execution of technology strategy to modernize ITSM processes.  You will develop and maintain a roadmap for achieving program objectives while maintaining performance benchmarks and introducing continuous improvements across service desk and cloud server/hybrid infrastructures.  Your responsibilities will include developing and executing a Task Order Management Plan that integrates technical strategies, organizational resources, and management controls to ensure cost efficiency and exceptional performance throughout project execution. Responsibilities: 

Program Management

Develop and maintain a comprehensive Task Order Management Plan that outlines technical strategies, organizational resources, and management controls. 

Ensure alignment of the Task Order Management Plan with cost objectives, performance benchmarks, and schedule targets specified in the Task Order document. 

Prepare and submit monthly status reports detailing ongoing efforts in quality assurance, configuration management, and security management related to the task order. 

Implement advanced productivity and management methodologies, including quality assurance, configuration management, security management, and resource management. 

Develop a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan outlining systematic methods for monitoring and evaluating success. 

Manage task order execution to meet specified requirements for quality, cost, and schedule. 

Outline strategic approaches and resource allocations in the Staff Roster necessary to achieve Task Order objectives. 

Technical Leadership

Mentor team leads and staff in technical roadmap development and strategic visioning around transitioning from monolithic systems design to a microservices approach.

Work with service desk and cloud operations teams to introduce AIOPS/ML techniques to automate processes and establish prescriptive and self-healing architectures.

Ensure technical team understands technical vision and is fully engaged in the plan.

Understanding of data management and data analytics leveraging data visualization tools such as PowerBI to inform trend analysis.

Conduct continuous monitoring to ensure adherence to project objectives and prompt identification of issues. 

Oversee all technical and functional activities essential for thorough program management as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). 

Utilize Microsoft Project or other designated tools for task planning, scheduling, and tracking. 

Maintain and update detailed documentation on processes, images, and equipment. 

Implement a comprehensive change management process compliant with NIST SP 800-128 and document technical change requests. 

Provide technical predesign, design documents, test plans, operations and maintenance plans, installation instructions, and standard operating procedures as required by the Project Process Agreement supporting EPLC. 

Develop and maintain infrastructure artifacts, including Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), System Design documents, control implementation, maintenance procedures, and timely project artifacts essential for project completion and Security Assessments. 

Collaborate in the formulation of POAMs to address system weaknesses identified during system scans, assessments, Pen Tests, and other vulnerabilities uncovered. 

Qualifications:

Required 

Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred; will consider 15+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

6+ years of experience in program or project management, specifically in managing task orders and contracts in complex environments

Experience supporting and/or leading service desk teams

Experience supporting and/or leading server operations and cloud operations teams

Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, or ability to obtain a PMP Certification with the first 180 days of start

Current Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Practitioner certification or ability to obtain a SRE Practitioner within 60 days of start

Experience with EPLC methodologies 

Preferred 

Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
