We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team! The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for inspecting raw materials and work in process with finished goods to ensure compliance with product specifications. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is ideal. A background in printing, packaging or a similar industry is a huge plus!

Responsibilities:

Examines purchase order and/or other documents to secure details regarding size, colors, content and other product characteristics being inspected for.

Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system and conformity to specified standards.

Tests samples of product and documents results.

Approves or rejects product and writes report of inspection results

Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations

Qualifications:

Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality

Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions

Understands business implications of decisions; Displays orientation to profitability; Aligns work with strategic goals.

Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner while gathering and analyzing information skillfully

Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); college degree in related field preferred

One year or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

One year or more of experience working in a manufacturing environment, printing, packaging or folding carton experience preferred
