Overview:

The Senior Director of Operations Services is a key leadership role responsible for analyzing, overseeing, and optimizing various operational aspects within the organization including systems such as inventory costing and POS detail. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, this position currently involves managing a team of two individuals: Manager of Culinary Services, and Operations Services Analyst. The primary focus of this leader is on ensuring the seamless functioning of enterprise-wide systems, culinary operations, and enabling operational efficiency improvements.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize operational processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Collaborate with the VP of Operations and other senior executives to align operational strategies with organizational goals and objectives.

Provide leadership and guidance to the Manager of Culinary Services and Operations Services Analyst.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the over-arching operations team, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.

Oversee information systems operations, including software systems analysis, programming, and maintenance.

Monitor the accessibility and performance of applications and services, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Lead the implementation and maintenance of enterprise-wide system tools, with a focus on scalability and adaptability to business needs.

Work closely with the Manager of Culinary Services to streamline culinary operations and enhance menu execution.

Oversee the development of culinary and beverage training materials, eliminating operational inefficiencies.

Partner with and provide guidance to the Director of Operational Excellence regarding cross-functional initiatives impacting the enterprise.

Oversee the integration of marketing and culinary initiatives related strategy, ensuring consistency and brand alignment, and ability to execute within the systems and operations!

Set objectives for initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of enterprise-wide processes and customer satisfaction!

Build, maintain, and keep the operations and operational systems SOPs.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong organizational skills

Strong decision-making skills

Cross-functional experience

Proficient computer skills, including advanced MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations, including the ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate documentation and analytical reporting to all levels of the organization.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum ten (10) years’ hospitality industry experience

Minimum five (5) years’ cross-functional analytics experience

Minimum five (5) years’ vendor management & strategic planning

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL EXPERIENCE

Effectively builds relationships within the organization to help achieve business outcomes.

Demonstrates expertise in dealing with business partners at a strategic level, coaching and counseling them, and influencing leadership thinking in strategic communications.

Collects, analyzes, and interprets qualitative and quantitative data and information to measure the performance of our systems.

Provides superior operations & operational systems counsel to stakeholders enabling executive decision making

Exhibits expertise in influencing business strategies and ensures alignment and impact of the strategic operations standards of excellence and priorities.

Strong Project leadership and execution experience

Cross-functional Leadership and Management experience

Ability to prioritize and multi-task while meeting tight deadlines with fast-paced changing priorities; excellent organization skills; ability to analyze complex situations, data, and develop effective solutions; self-starter with the independence, initiative, and drive to succeed with a flexible 'can do' approach to strategic planning and problem solving.

Proven success identifying and leading LEAN style organizational improvements.

Uses in-depth knowledge of key audience values to achieve operations goals and enhanced performance beyond mere understanding or agreement, such as engagement and active support.
